Funded Two Year old places
Your child may be eligible if you receive any of the following:
- Income support
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Universal Credit – if you and your partner have a combined income from work of £15,400 a year or less after tax
- Tax credits and have an annual income of £16,190 or less a year before tax
- If your child is in receipt of Disability Allowance (DLA)
- A child that is looked after by a Local Authority, or have a child that has left care through an adoption, or subject to , a special guardianship order or a child arrangements order
Apply for Two Year old funding
Funded Three and Four Year old places
3 year olds are eligible for up to 15 hrs funded childcare from the term after their third birthday, no application is required, the preschool will claim this on your behalf each term. All 4 year olds are eligible for this funding when they start at the preschool
Extended Funded 30 hours
Working parents of 3 and 4 year olds may qualify for a further additional 15 hrs childcare per week . Parents need to apply online through the Government Childcare Choices website
