Our Staff

All members of our staff are qualified, very experienced and friendly, who have been DBS checked and First Aid trained. We have an experienced Senco on site as well as Behaviour and Safeguarding Officers.    

The preschool is registered and inspected by Ofsted and was graded GOOD in all areas in May 2023.  We are also members of the Early Years Alliance and audited by the local authority Havering Council.

Working with Parents 

At Bumbles Preschool we recognise the importance of a close working relationship with parents. You are the most important person in your child’s early life, and by working closely together we can ensure that your child’s needs are met.  

We provide regular updates on your child’s progress and parents have the opportunity for an informal discussion with staff before and after sessions. Your child will be given an online Learning Journal, where you can view observations and photographs, offering you an insight into your child’s day at Bumbles. When your child leaves you have the opportunity to download their journal and keep it as a memento of their time with us.

To ensure parents are kept up to date, the preschool shares regular newsletters, notices and email communications. 

Children’s Key Person

Your child will be assigned a Key Person whilst at Bumbles, their role is to keep a special eye on your child and get to know you as parents as well. Their primary role is to bond with and support your child whilst at preschool, making sure they feel, happy, safe and secure, and grow into confident individuals. They will work closely with you as parents to ensure your child’s learning development, needs and interests are provided for.
